Yoga is so much more than a physical practice. When we move beyond the asana into the world of yogic thought, we open the door to lessons which enrich not only our practice on the mat, but our daily lives.
The Yamas and Niyamas are part of the eight limbs of yoga, or guidelines for living. The Yamas focus on care for others, while the Niyamas focus on care for self. Through the integration of the Yamas and Niyamas we invite the possibility of deeper connections and balance within our inner and outer worlds.
Join me for a thought provoking yoga practice that weaves the Yamas and Niyamas in with the asana or physical postures. This series is for seasoned yogis who are willing to explore, play, and test their physical and mental edge.
